Alpha Xi Delta

Zeta Chi at University of North Carolina - Wilmington

Chapter History

On March 28th, 1987, the hard work of 35 trailblazing women paid off as they were rewarded with the honor of becoming officially initiated sisters of the Zeta Chi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, changing many women's lives at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the years to come. The year that followed would make their chapter stronger, as the women participated in a very successful fall recruitment and won several National awards. Many more awards were to follow in the coming years, including two National Rose Awards that are presented to Alpha Xi Delta chapters who have exemplified the greatest amount of progress in a calendar year.

Today, Alpha Xi Deltas at UNCW can be found in all aspects of Greek and student life and many organizations. Friendly, fun, athletic, intelligent and classy, we Alpha Xi's are proud of our letters and enjoy a sisterly bond like no other as we look forward to an even brighter future in the years to come.
