The Zeta Chi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at UNCW participates in formal recruitment each fall over Labor Day weekend, following a four-round process designed to create meaningful connections between potential new members and our sisterhood. The first round, Academic, emphasizes the importance of scholarship and personal growth, allowing us to learn about each woman’s goals, achievements, and dedication to excellence. The second round, Philanthropy, introduces our chapter’s service efforts through the Kindly Hearts Initiative and our local partnership with Stand Up for Kids, highlighting our commitment to supporting children and families in need. The third round, Sisterhood, showcases the genuine friendships, support, and sense of belonging that make Alpha Xi Delta such a special community. Finally, the Preference round offers a more personal and reflective experience, where both sisters and potential new members can envision their place within our chapter. Throughout formal recruitment, we seek women who are dedicated, kind, and authentic, and who embody the compassion, leadership, and integrity that define the Zeta Chi chapter.

Since Alpha Xi Delta’s founding in 1893, we continue to enrich the lives of women throughout the world with by emphasizing the ideals our Founders instilled in our Fraternity: Sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service to our communities.
